The Visitors｜Kaohsiung Metro

For a long time now my artistic creations have explored issues related to the intervention and influence of different cultures. That is why my works are often filled with such symbols as imaginary “aliens” and “UFOs.” I use these symbols to express different culture identities. I use semiotics in this work to symbolize the fact that in a city that is becoming increasingly international in nature, the new MRT system will help to bring together people from different communities, cities, races, genders, nationalities and perhaps even from different planets and dimensions. To a certain extent this also alludes to the current culture situation in this place and at this time.
