    Wide Gate (Barrier-free Gate)

    A special gate for wheelchair users is available in the station near the entrance/exit of the barrier-free elevator that is close to the unpaid zone.

    There is a dedicated add value/ ticket vending machine for wheelchair users in the station near the entrance of the barrier-free elevator that is close to the unpaid zone.

    In order to take into account the safety and accessibility of visually and/or physically impaired, aged or others with temporary reduced mobility such as lifting heavy objects, travel with baby strollers… etc., barrier-free elevators are provided at all stations.

    For those who needs to transit, the Metro station provides barrier-free vehicle or motorcycle parking spaces for those with reduced mobility.

  • Platform Waiting Areas for the Disabled

    Platform Waiting Areas for the Disabled

    1. Barrier-free stickers are place on the gate nearest to the barrier-free elevator, and path guidance to the waiting area leading to train door are provided for the visually impaired.
    2. For stations with platform gates, there are barrier-free stickers placed on; counting from train traveling direction, the second car of the first and fourth platform gate. The stations without the platform gates have the barriers-free signs on the floor of the waiting area allowing easy identification to note the wheelchair friendly car for wheelchair users.

  • Departure Tone

    Departure Tone

    A warning tone is sounded before the platform gate closes to avoid people with reduced mobility from getting hurt by the doors.
